Art Direction & Branding
The Jessica Simpson team rented a unique house in Venice, CA for a desert inspired photoshoot for the Spring 2022 campaign. I was hired to give photo art direction to the photographer and created a few mood boards based on angular poses to compliment the natural and organic landscape. It was important to capture images in both horizontal and vertical formats, with a few fast shutter images as well for short animations for the website.
Banner Design & Direction
The banners were designed to compliment the photoshoot and the venue in which we shot the campaign. I opted for a handwritten, loose, organic script font that also mimics Jessica's own handwriting. We wanted the script to look like it had been hand written over a photo. We also wanted to use blocks of neutral colors and pieces of the images to add to the collage effect.
